Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7511 and its Auxiliary hold its annual Memorial Day Service at the Monroe IOOF Cemetery

Monroe, Wash. – On May 29, 2023, members of the Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 and its Auxiliary held their annual Memorial Day Service at the IOOF Cemetery in Monroe, WA. Presiding over the service was outgoing Post Commander Terry D. Stinson. Post and District Chaplain Ricky Andrew said the prayer and incoming PostCommander, Casi Myers laid the wreath at the Veterans Memorial on behalf of the Post. Snohomish High School JROTC provided a Color Guard and Rifle Detail. Taps was played by U.S. Navy Veteran, Bill Clark. Members from Monroe City Council and Monroe School Board were in attendance.
